Our story

A New Standardfor Afghan Raisins.

Formed in 2014, Afghan Samoon Company is an Afghan agribusiness dedicated to developing Afghanistan’s raisin-production and processing sector.

The company was established to bring modern technology, technical knowledge and international food-safety requirements into the production, processing and export of Afghan raisins.

Since 2014, Afghan Samoon has carried out a major investment program and built a new processing factory in Istalif — in the heart of the Shamali grape-producing plains, approximately 30 kilometres from Kabul city centre.
